CDROP works to improve access to clean and safe water, sanitation, and hygiene in communities, through the construction of wells, latrines, and the promotion of good hygiene practices in grassroots communities in Northern Kenya, Southern Somalia and Ethiopia. .

Our WASH programs make communities more resilient in saving lives, improving livelihoods, in water security, sanitation and hygiene which is critical component for progress in global development.

We create awareness programs and facilitate information sharing empowering communities on good hygiene practices to reduce the prevalence of diseases like diarrhea, cholera and many more water borne disease.

We also increase awareness and knowledge of menstrual health and hygiene (MHH) in schools and communities, implements gender-sensitive designs of WASH facilities in schools and strengthens the supply chain of menstrual health and hygiene products in order to create conducive learning environments for gender adolescent girls to get a very good conducive environment for learning.

CDROP work towards clean water sustainability and availability through water infrastructure and technology for small-scale irrigation schemes, enhances access to clean water to households and their livestock by promoting to tap run off rain water harvesting into earth pans, underground water harvesting tanks, drilling of boreholes, as well as rehabilitation and improvement of water pans and shallow wells.
